a) The student must be enrolled in an undergraduate or associate degree program at the university.
b) The student must not have received any disciplinary punishment.
c) The student must have successfully completed all courses in the major degree program up to the semester in which they apply for the DMP.
d) The student’s Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) must be at least 2.75 out of 4.00.
e) For undergraduate major programs, the student must be at the beginning of no earlier than the 3rd and no later than the 5th semester.

(2) Applications for the DMP must be submitted to the relevant Faculty Dean’s Office or Vocational School Directorate with the application form and transcript, on the dates specified in the academic calendar or determined by the Senate.
(3) Students are admitted according to available quotas based on their CGPA ranking. In case of a tie, placement is determined by the student’s national university entrance exam (ÖSYM) score ranking in the relevant score type for the year of admission to the major program.
(4) A student cannot be enrolled in more than one double major program simultaneously; however, it is possible to be enrolled in a double major and a minor program at the same time.
(5) For departments that admit students through a special talent examination, applicants must also meet the success criteria of that specific examination.
(6) Students applying to double major programs with a mandatory foreign language preparatory class must have either passed the Foreign Language Proficiency Exam or successfully completed the preparatory class.
(7) Students who have transferred horizontally (via internal transfer) cannot apply for a double major program in the same academic term.
(8) Students whose CGPA is 2.75 or above but who are not within the top 20% of their class may still apply to the double major program if their university entrance score in the relevant field is not lower than the base score required for admission to the second major program in the same academic year.
