Dr. Fırat KOÇ, Head of the Physical Anthropology Department of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Dr. Emel ACAR ACABEY, are continuing their joint project titled "Biosocial Profiling," led by Marina BUTOVSKAYA, Head of the Center for Intercultural Psychology and Human Ethology of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Faculty Member of the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology. Data collection continues alongside our master's students Sümeyra KESERGEN and Melek GÜL, and our undergraduate student Rauf Tarık Efe BAŞ.
Fieldwork for two new BAP projects, approved by our university's Scientific Research Projects Coordination Office, will begin in the Fall Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year.
We are continuing our preparations with working groups comprised of undergraduate and graduate students to submit applications for projects planned to be implemented with support from national support programs such as TÜBİTAK 2209-A/B, 1001, 3005, and 3501.
