The Occupational Health and Safety Graduate Program with Thesis was established in 2018 within the Institute of Science at our university to provide interdisciplinary education.
The Occupational Health and Safety Master’s Program aims to ensure that studies involving health and safety across all sectors of industry are conducted with high accuracy based on scientific methods and analyses, and that these studies are continuously improved and developed. The program also seeks to train experts who can monitor whether employees in all types of work environments are working under healthy and safe conditions, guide enterprises toward taking appropriate and adequate precautions, and provide professional competence in this field. Furthermore, the program aims to educate individuals who are well-versed in occupational health and safety legislation, sensitive to current developments, capable of following new advancements, acting in accordance with professional ethical standards, and competent in conducting risk and accident analyses. These individuals will be able to identify all factors and practices that may lead to workplace accidents and take all necessary measures to ensure occupational safety.
Graduates of relevant departments in Science, Engineering, Health Sciences, and Social Sciences are eligible to apply for this program.
