he duration of education in the Department of Nursing is four years; the language of instruction is Turkish, and in addition to the Turkish curriculum, advanced professional English instruction is provided.

Within the scope of Preventive Health, the human, environment, and nursing components form the foundation of our curriculum. Our educational program includes general courses, department-specific courses, and clinical practice that help our students gain experience in acute care and community health. The program aims to enable undergraduate nurses to sustain and develop the qualities of providing evidence-based care, serving as educators and researchers, and offering consultancy and leadership. Upon completion of the program, students—equipped with intellectual and leadership skills, committed to quality service, proficient in the use of technology, able to follow scientific developments and apply them in their professional practice, and capable of collaborating with various social institutions—will be able to contribute to improving the quality of life of individuals, families, and society in relation to primary, secondary, and tertiary health services. In the undergraduate nursing curriculum, alongside core courses covering health-promoting, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative care, there are elective courses in emerging areas of health and nursing.

Our department houses fully equipped Nursing Skills Laboratories, a Computer Laboratory, and a Library. At our university, students also have the opportunity to express themselves in line with international standards as they prepare for the profession.

Nursing After Graduation

Our graduates will be able to work in all private-sector institutions and organizations where health services are provided, as well as in the public sector, and they will also have the opportunity to continue their profession independently by opening private health cabins. Our graduates can also work as nurses in many countries around the world.

After passing the required examinations, they may continue their education after graduation, obtain master’s and doctoral degrees, and pursue their careers in the nursing departments of universities.

Graduates have the opportunity to work in any private or public setting where preventive, curative, and rehabilitative health services are provided, in order to fulfill their core functions of delivering nursing and care services.
