METU URAP (University Ranking by Academic Performance) released the academic performance ranking of universities for 2020-2021. Our university's total score, which is based on factors such as articles, citations, total scientific documents, number of students per faculty member, and number of PhD students, climbed to 472.39 points, up 14,1 points from the previous year. As a result, while our university was ranked 9th among state universities founded after 2000, it was ranked 12th among 108 universities in total. Our university’s medical school rose to the 43rd place among 85 universities with an increase of 2 points in the URAP rankings, which also evaluate academic excellence of universities with medical schools.
