The Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Hitit University offers a four-year undergraduate program leading to a Bachelor’s degree. The department provides education in two separate programs — one in Turkish and one in English.
Students admitted to the English Program are first enrolled in the English Preparatory School. Those who successfully pass the proficiency examination may begin directly from the first year. Upon completing all required and elective courses and earning the necessary credits, students are awarded a bachelor’s diploma that confers all the rights and privileges recognized by law for graduates in the fields of Political Science, Public Administration, and Political Science and Public Administration.
Established in 2006 within the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, the department welcomed its first cohort of students the same year and produced its first graduates in 2010.
In 2018–2019, the Political Science and Public Administration (English) program began admitting students. This program offers a fully English-medium curriculum and awarded its first diplomas in 2023.
