Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Public Administration
Graduates of the Political Science and Public Administration Program at Hitit University are expected to achieve the following learning outcomes:
1- Possess advanced conceptual knowledge of political science, public administration, and urban and environmental studies, and demonstrate the ability to apply this knowledge in practice.
2- Understand and integrate key concepts from related disciplines such as law, economics, finance, business administration, and other social sciences, establishing connections among them.
3- Demonstrate competence in research design and planning, the use of appropriate methodologies, and the collection and interpretation of data to generate new knowledge in the field of political science and public administration.
4- Communicate effectively in written and oral forms, and prepare professional reports and presentations in line with academic and administrative standards.
5- Apply acquired learning outcomes to professional practice in both public and private sector environments.
6- Analyze and evaluate real-life political and administrative phenomena with reference to theoretical knowledge and scholarly frameworks.
7- Develop interdisciplinary perspectives, combining insights from political science and public administration with those of other social sciences to produce critical and innovative analyses.
8- Assume responsibility and work effectively in teams, particularly in addressing challenges or deficiencies in administrative and political practices.
9- Critically assess information and practices, reflect on cause-and-effect relationships, and adopt a perspective compatible with lifelong learning and professional development.
