The Erasmus exchange program offers numerous benefits. Although there are some setbacks, I also encounter.
To begin with the pros: Firstly, I have experienced new cultures, languages, and traditions, fostering cross-cultural understanding with other international students, fostering diversity from different angles.
Secondly, with the Erasmus exchange experience, it has helped me to build connections with international peers, academics, and professionals.
Thirdly, the Erasmus program has helped me explore new countries and broaden my horizons.
Above all, access to funding to cover living and travel expenses during the exchange was sufficient during the study.
Cons: While the Erasmus program offers numerous advantages, there are some potential disadvantages to consider:
First and foremost, the language barrier is one of the problems faced in Poland during my Erasmus study. In other words, adjusting to a new language can be challenging, particularly if you are not fluent in the host country's language.
Moreover, cultural adjustment is also a setback I have experienced. However, adapting to a new culture and customs can be overwhelming for some students.
The issue of Social Pressure is another significant setback I experience. In other words, building a new social circle in a foreign environment can be intimidating and may lead to feelings of isolation.

Erasmus, just as every other educational exchange program, is highly beneficial for so many reasons. One of them is that Erasmus allows students to immerse themselves in a different culture, making them global citizens. This singular act also makes participating students more tolerant of other cultures. Another important benefit is the opportunity to network with like-minded students and professors from other parts of the world. Lastly, Erasmus offers the opportunity of visual learning as students can visit important landmarks in other countries. In nitty-gritty, Erasmus is a symbiotic experience that allows both students and faculty to benefit from each other's knowledge, making both parties a better version of themselves.
