Hitit University Holds International Collaboration Meeting with UTP and Guimaras State University
On 19 August 2026, Hitit University held an online collaboration meeting with representatives of Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), Malaysia, and Guimaras State University (GSU), the Philippines.
During the meeting, the parties discussed potential opportunities for student mobility and academic cooperation among the three universities. Particular attention was given to student exchange programmes, short-term international mobility activities, academic and cultural programmes, joint seminars and workshops, and research collaboration.
The discussions also addressed prospective international student mobility programmes through which students from Universiti Teknologi Petronas and Guimaras State University could participate in academic activities at Hitit University. Possible programme components included lectures, laboratory sessions, workshops, and other activities designed to promote academic interaction among students and faculty members from the partner institutions.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss broader areas of collaboration, including student and staff mobility, joint research, academic events, and community engagement activities.
The meeting is expected to contribute to strengthening academic relations among Hitit University, Universiti Teknologi Petronas, and Guimaras State University and to lay the groundwork for sustainable international cooperation among the three institutions.
