Hitit University to Participate in the EURASHE Annual Conference 2026 Programme


Hitit University will take part in the 35th EURASHE Annual Conference, which will be held on 17-18 June 2026 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Organised by the European Association for the Applied Sciences in Higher Education, EURASHE, and hosted by Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, the conference will focus on the theme “Impact, Industry, Society: Demand-driven research and innovation for a competitive Europe.” The event will bring together representatives from the higher education sector to discuss the role of universities of applied sciences in research, innovation, regional development and societal impact.

Hitit University will be represented in the conference programme with the session titled “Strategic Management with Performance-Based Budgeting for Impact-Driven Applied Research: Tools and lessons from IMAP4U.” 

The session, scheduled as part of the breakout sessions on 17 June 2026, will focus on how the methodologies developed within the IMAP4U project can support strategic governance, data-driven decision-making, performance reporting and performance-based budgeting in applied research. It will also address how higher education institutions can align research priorities with regional and societal needs, channel resources into impact-driven innovation projects and strengthen stakeholder engagement.

Hitit University’s participation in the EURASHE Annual Conference 2026 programme represents an important contribution to the University’s international visibility, applied research capacity and engagement with European higher education networks.
