Postgraduate students admitted to the Doctoral Program in the Department of Archeology via the Non-Disciplinary Quota are required to successfully complete the Scientific Preparatory Program coursework before commencing the courses in the Doctoral curriculum.

Pursuant to Article 30 (titled "Admission to the Scientific Preparatory Program") of the Fifth Section of the Hitit University Regulation on Graduate Education and Training, and Clause 4 of Article 13 (concerning "Admission of Students to Scientific Preparatory Programs") of the Directive on Graduate Education, Training, and Examination Procedures, these students must successfully complete a total of eight courses: four courses during the Fall Semester and four courses during the Spring Semester, as specified in the table below.

Students who successfully complete these eight courses are then eligible to proceed to the coursework phase of the Doctoral Program.
