The process for the Hitit University Department of Archaeology to obtain the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TQF) logo usage right has been successfully completed, and our department has been granted the right to use the logo.
Programs entitled to use the TQF Logo are listed in the Higher Education Programs and Quotas Guide. For the TQF Logo to be utilized on higher education graduation documents, the relevant program must first be accredited by accreditation bodies authorized or recognized by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK). Furthermore, the program qualification form must be compatible with the relevant qualification type descriptor, and the qualification must be listed in the Turkish Qualifications Database maintained by the Vocational Qualifications Authority (VQA/MYK).
The use of the TQF logo signifies the aim to enhance the quality of educational programs offered to students and significantly increase their recognition in the professional world. This logo also ensures wider acceptance of the diplomas and qualification documents awarded to the university’s graduates.
The inclusion of a qualification in the TQF means that quality assurance processes are operated effectively, that it carries an explicit reference to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), and that the qualification access processes are reliable and transparent.
The TQF logo will be eligible for use on the diplomas, Diploma Supplements, and graduation certificates of students who successfully graduate from these TQF-registered programs.
This measure will facilitate graduates’ access to education and employment opportunities both domestically and internationally using their diplomas and documentation.
