Hitit University is a public university located in Çorum, Central Anatolia, Türkiye. As a strong academic institution and an ESC accredited organisation, we are actively working in the fields of education, innovation, youth empowerment, and international cooperation. We are also a Eurodesk Contact Point and have a rich background in Erasmus+ projects.

In line with our goal of internationalization in higher education, Hitit University has been actively engaged in significant efforts within the scope of European Union programmes since 2014.

Under the Erasmus+ Programme, we take great pride in implementing numerous national and international projects in the fields of student and staff mobility, youth, adult education, vocational education, and higher education.

The experience gained throughout this process has enhanced our institutional capacity and provided students and staff with opportunities for academic development and intercultural exchange.

Our institution is not only a participant but also a developer and manager of high-quality international projects.

Through youth exchanges, local volunteering activities, and social participation projects, our university has played a leading role in promoting European values among young people. In this context, our institution has obtained institutional accreditation under the European Solidarity Corps (ESC), thus formalizing its long-term commitment to volunteering, social responsibility, and youth engagement.

•Several significant milestones••Erasmus+ project “Don’t Hinder Me!” coordinated by our university, was selected as a good practice example by the Turkish National Agency—underscoring our capacity for inclusive and high-impact project implementation.••Coordinator of STEM for Girls- aims to identify the causes of gender inequality in STEM fields and offer solutions, bringing policymakers and young people together to address the issues•

•The consortia we have established, the innovative projects we have coordinated, and the accomplishments we have attained have all served to elevate Hitit University’s global visibility and academic prestige.
