The Thermodynamics Laboratory provides students with the opportunity to perform experiments each week on different experimental setups related to energy and thermodynamics, as part of the Mechanical Engineering Laboratory I and II courses.

With 15 different experimental setups available, students not only reinforce their theoretical knowledge through hands-on practice but also gain exposure to a wide variety of experiments. Thanks to this feature, the Thermodynamics Laboratory holds the distinction of being the department’s laboratory with the highest number of experimental devices and the most intensive hands-on training environment.

In addition, within the scope of the Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning courses, senior (fourth-year) students conduct experiments in the Thermodynamics Laboratory, and their results are compiled and reported by the students themselves.
