Adama M. Kolley (2025) It is an honor to graduate as the Valedictorian of the Department of Political Science & Public Administration and to rank 2nd in the entire Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences for the 2024–2025 academic year. My academic journey has deepened my expertise in political theory, public administration, international relations, and governance, while strengthening my abilities in research, policy analysis, critical thinking, and effective communication. I am especially grateful for the Erasmus opportunity I received from Hitit University, which enabled me to study at the University of Zielona Góra in Poland—broadening my academic perspectives and intercultural understanding. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my professors for their invaluable guidance, mentorship, and inspiration, which have been instrumental in both my academic achievements and personal growth.

İbrahim Cem Gül (2024) Hello, I'm İbrahim Cem Gül, a 2024 graduate of Hitit University's Department of Political Science and Public Administration. I work at a private bank. My education at Hitit University was highly productive, both in terms of deepening my academic knowledge and contributing to my personal development. I had the opportunity to develop my critical thinking and analytical skills under the guidance of our expert professors. Furthermore, the Erasmus+ and other international opportunities offered by Hitit University were the greatest experience of my life and contributed greatly to my personal development. I had the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ program in two different countries. My advisors were always helpful throughout this process, and our grants were sent without any problems. My experiences in Poland and Lithuania: Meeting people from different cultures, seeing new places, and experiencing independent living broadened my worldview. I had the opportunity to meet my peers from different parts of the world and realized that we all share common concerns. Therefore, I aimed to be a global citizen with universal values. It was here that I planted the seeds of friendship, brotherhood, and love. The knowledge and experience I gained here have been instrumental in shaping both my personal development and my career goals.
Basiru Marenah (2023) My Journey at Hitit University: A Transformative Experience My names are Basiru Marenah, from The Gambia; The smiling coast of Africa. I wouldn't make justice if I talk about my journey to Hitit University with recognizing the tremendous effort of Muhammad Mubarack, from Cameron who introduced me to this University. He was tirelessly monitoring my application from the beginning all the way of my arrival to Çorum (Dünyanın merkezi). He's an outstanding human being, and may God bless him abundantly. Studying at Hitit University between 2019 and 2023 in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, under the Department of Political Science and Public Administration was one of the most enriching and transformative periods of my life. It was more than just an academic pursuit, it was a personal journey that reshaped the person I become today. During those rich four years, I had the opportunity to engage with a broad range of courses that deeply influenced my thinking and broadened my perspective on many social and political issues. Courses such as Political Ideologies, Public Policy Analysis, Comparative political Analysis, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law and Sociology have been very much impactful. They challenged me to think critically about the structures that govern our lives and helped me developed a more nuanced understanding of the relationship between the state, society, and the individual. These classes did not just equip me with theoretical knowledge, they've equally changed the way I see the world. They encouraged me to question, to seek deeper understanding, and to appreciate the complexity of social life. I began to recognize the importance of transparency, accountability, and citizen engagement in public administration, and how deeply these values affect societal development. Beyond the classroom, being part of the Hitit University community taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of collaboration. The diverse environment and the opportunity to interact with students and professors from different backgrounds helped me grow both intellectually and personally. I won't forget to thank those Excellent and hardworking lecturers I had, starting with Dr. Veysel Dinler who first welcomed me to the University and he was my go to whenever I have an issue needing a quick solve, Also Professor Mustafa Onur and his wife Elif hoca, Professor Metin Uçar, Professor Fatih Duman and all other professors and lecturers, they've been an outstanding people in shaping students Looking back, I am deeply grateful for everything I learned during my time there. Hitit University laid a strong foundation for my academic journey and inspired a sense of purpose in me. One of my greatest hopes is to return to the university someday, not as a student, but as someone who can give back, even just a little, from all that I have gained. Whether through mentoring, teaching or contributing to academic initiatives. I would be honored to play a role in shaping future students just as the University and the Lecturers shaped me.
