Graduates of the Political Science and Public Administration program are expected to acquire the following knowledge, skills, and competencies:
1- Possesses advanced conceptual and practical knowledge in the fields of political science, public administration, and urban and environmental studies
2- Demonstrates a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts and interrelations within political science, administration, urban and environmental studies, law, economics, public finance, business, and other social sciences
3- Has the methodological knowledge and practical skills necessary to conduct research, develop plans, access sources, collect data, and produce information in the field of political science and public administration.
4- Communicates and reports acquired knowledge and skills in both written and oral forms effectively.
5- Applies academic learning outcomes to professional life and real-world practices.
6- Analyzes and evaluates concrete phenomena and practices in the field of political science and public administration concerning relevant theoretical frameworks.
7- Establishes interdisciplinary connections between political science, public administration, and other social sciences to produce critical interpretations and analyses.
8- Takes responsibility and actively participates in teamwork to identify and solve practical problems in the field.
9- Evaluates knowledge and practices critically through a cause-and-effect perspective, reflects outcomes into professional life, and adopts a lifelong learning approach.
10- Transforms academic knowledge and practices into socially responsible projects and activities, and uses their expertise with a sense of ethical responsibility and openness to innovation.
11- They are sensitive to universal human rights, social justice, environmental issues, gender equality, and labor relations.
12- Demonstrates proficiency in written and oral communication in Turkish; has sufficient knowledge of English and can use information technologies relevant to the profession.
