Zehra Karayel, Research Assistant at the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, Hitit University, has successfully defended her doctoral dissertation entitled “The Gulf Region in the Context of the Conceptualization of the Security Community” at the Institute of Social Sciences, Department of International Relations, Istanbul Medeniyet University, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Berdal Aral, on 21 August 2025.
