Postgraduate education in Basic Islamic Sciences helps students gain the ability to access, evaluate and interpret information through scientific research.

We aim to train personnel who have the competence to conduct scientific research in their field, who understand the issues in their area and can develop solutions, who embrace scientific thinking and ethical principles, and who possess qualities such as questioning, creativity, productivity, and active participation in academic activities. They should be able to conduct research to address societal and religious issues, contribute to scientific knowledge, and share their findings with relevant parties.

Our department offers master's and doctoral programs through the Graduate Education Institute. These include doctoral programs in theology, Quranic exegesis, and Islamic sciences, as well as master's programs in theology, Quranic exegesis, Islamic law, Sufism, and Islamic sciences. Additionally, master's and doctoral programs are available in Arabic language and rhetoric, history of Islamic sects, and recitation within the field of Islamic sciences. A non-thesis master's program in fundamental Islamic sciences is also offered.
