Undergraduate students enrolled in the Department of Archaeology at Hitit University have the right to transfer to the universities of their choice. Similarly, students studying at other institutions may apply for a transfer to the Department of Archaeology at Hitit University. Students wishing to study in our department through a transfer may apply based on their grade point averages or university entrance examination scores. Information regarding quotas and application dates can be found on the faculty and department websites.
The courses taken by students admitted to our department through a transfer from their previous programmes are evaluated by the Department of Archaeology’s Course Equivalency Committee in terms of course content and academic performance. These courses are matched with those deemed equivalent, and students are then enrolled in other courses of their choice from the curriculum implemented by the department.
The Department of Archaeology conducts course exemption and equivalency evaluations in accordance with the Directive on Course Equivalency, Exemption, and Adjustment Procedures, adopted by the Senate of Hitit University.
