Turkish Qualifications Framework (TQF)
The Department of Archaeology at Hitit University has successfully completed the process required to obtain the right to use the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TQF) logo and has been granted permission to use the logo.
Programs authorized to use the TQF logo are listed in the Guide to Higher Education Programs and Quotas. For the TQF logo to be used on higher education graduation documents, the relevant program must first be accredited by accreditation agencies authorized or recognized by the Council of Higher Education Quality Board (THEQC). In addition, the program qualifications form must be consistent with the relevant qualification type descriptor, and the qualification must be included in the Turkish Qualifications Database maintained by the Vocational Qualifications Authority (VQA).
The use of the TQF logo demonstrates a commitment to enhancing the quality of educational programs offered to students and increasing their recognition in the labour market. The logo also helps ensure broader recognition of the diplomas and qualification documents awarded to university graduates.
The inclusion of a qualification in the TQF indicates that effective quality assurance processes are in place, that the qualification is explicitly referenced to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), and that the processes for accessing the qualification are reliable and transparent.
The TQF logo may be used on the diplomas, diploma supplements, and graduation certificates of students graduating from programs authorized to use the logo.
This recognition is intended to facilitate graduates' access to educational and employment opportunities both in Türkiye and abroad through the use of their diplomas and qualification documents.
