At Hitit University TÖMER, the language teaching process is designed in accordance with universal standards and current language teaching approaches.
Turkish language classes are conducted in groups of 15–20 students by instructors experienced in teaching Turkish as a foreign/second language. Our classrooms are designed in accordance with modern language teaching practices and arranged to enable students to communicate directly with their instructors. Each classroom is equipped with a smartboard, computer, and projector.
Learning materials that facilitate the accurate and effective acquisition of Turkish are carefully selected and used in our classes. The learning process is supported by supplementary materials prepared by our teaching staff, as well as audio-visual materials and interactive activities.
At HİTİT-TÖMER, courses are offered at all language levels (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2) specified within The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Each student who enrolls in our courses is placed at the appropriate level according to the results of the Placement Test. The availability of specific course levels may vary depending on students’ proficiency levels and demand.
Equal emphasis is placed on the development of the four fundamental language skills: listening, reading, speaking, and writing. At the end of each level, examinations covering these four fundamental skills are administered to assess students’ language development.
Students who successfully complete the basic, intermediate, and advanced levels by attending the courses receive a certificate issued by HİTİT-TÖMER at the end of the C1 level.
In addition to General Turkish Courses, HİTİT-TÖMER may also offer Academic Turkish Courses, Online Turkish Courses, and Speaking and Writing Courses.
