Our Mission:
Our mission is to assist students and alumni in planning their career goals in accordance with their education, skills, and interests, while being aware of labor market needs, and to help them develop employability competencies. Through these efforts, we aim to enhance the university’s reputation and attractiveness, and at a macro level, contribute to the development of our country’s human resources potential and performance.
Areas of Activity:
Providing guidance and counseling services to help university students and alumni plan their career goals in line with their education, skills, interests, and the needs of the labor market.
Designing and delivering a Career Planning/Work-Life Skills curriculum lasting at least one semester, one hour per week, for students in their first year of university.
Organizing additional training programs to facilitate job search and employment processes for students and alumni and to enhance their employability skills.
Supporting the development of students’ and alumni’s employment skills by preparing online resources, tools, and materials related to career development.
Organizing experiential learning opportunities, job and internship fairs, seminars, conferences, panels, and workshops to increase practical experience for students and alumni.
Establishing collaborations with all external stakeholders (relevant public institutions, İŞKUR, Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Professional Chambers, KOSGEB, relevant NGOs, Technology Transfer Offices, Organized Industrial Zones, Municipalities, etc.) and organizing activities to strengthen existing partnerships.
Establishing student clubs/organizations related to career planning within the university, developing joint projects, and supporting the implementation of these projects.
Cooperating with national and international career platforms that provide career counseling services.
Developing a graduate information management system and resume database to track graduates, their contact information, social status changes, and career progress, including personal websites, social media addresses, and emails.
Developing and implementing strategies to more effectively promote university activities to alumni and encouraging alumni contributions to the university.
Organizing social, cultural, and professional solidarity and support activities between alumni and students.
Informing students about central services.
Utilizing all kinds of print and visual media in accordance with the center’s goals and activities.
