A protocol has been signed between Hitit University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, and Migros within the scope of the MAYA Management Program for 4th-year students.
Under this protocol, internship applications will be accepted from our students. Those who successfully complete the online exam and interview processes will be included in the internship program.
Students selected for the program will be scheduled according to their course and exam timetables and will work 35 hours per week, 5 days a week, as paid and insured interns.
During the internship, students will complete their training in Migros stores in Çorum as “Store Employees” in the Fall semester and as “Store Manager Candidates” in the Spring semester. Our store managers will evaluate the interns, and successful candidates will be appointed as “Store Managers/Assistant Managers.”
Students participating in the program will take the elective courses “Retail Management” (7th semester, Fall) and “Sales Management” (8th semester, Spring). Migros managers will be invited to these courses, and students will participate in structured in-class and online training sessions during the internship.
Students who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate approved by both the University and Migros. Students who do not pass the internship evaluation but take the courses “Retail Management” and “Sales Management” will receive a document from the University and Migros confirming their participation in the courses within the scope of university-industry collaboration.
