Hitit University Ranks 30th in Turkey for Scopus Publication Performance

According to Scopus data, Hitit University ranked 30th in Turkey in an assessment of publication performance covering the first three quarters of 2026. The university's publications per faculty member stood at 1.20.

In an evaluation comparing the total number of publications by Turkish universities in 2025 with those from the first three quarters of 2026, Hitit University surpassed its total publication count from the previous year within just the first nine months of the current year.

Hitit University’s Scopus-indexed publication count, which totaled 557 for the entire year of 2025, reached 578 in the first three quarters of 2026. Thus, with three months remaining in the year, the university exceeded its previous year's total by 21 publications. Based on this performance, Hitit University ranked 30th among universities in Turkey.

1.20 Publications Per Faculty Member

The assessment considered not only universities' total publication performance but also publications per faculty member.

Based on an evaluation involving 482 faculty members at Hitit University, the number of publications per faculty member was calculated to be 1.20.
