9.3.1 - Number of University-Based Companies
Hitit University has taken significant steps in recent years to commercialize research results and support the entrepreneurial ecosystem. As a result of research and innovation activities developed within our university, eight university-based spin-off companies have been established. These companies contribute to regional development and create qualified employment by combining academic knowledge with industry. Most of our spin-offs operate in the areas of technology development, materials science, energy efficiency, the environment, and healthcare. Hitit University's Technology Transfer Office (TTO) and Teknopark jointly provide mentoring, intellectual property management, and investment support to these ventures.
