Hitit University Ranks Among the Best in the 2026 Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Ratings
The "Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026," prepared by Times Higher Education (THE), one of the world's most prestigious higher-education ranking organizations, have been announced.
In the evaluations conducted across the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Hitit University, which ranked in all sub-categories, is among the 1,610 universities worldwide that made it into the ranking, once again demonstrating its international visibility and sustainability performance.
Among the Best in 5 Categories
In the 2026 ranking, Hitit University was included in all categories and stood out globally with its performance in "Ending Poverty," "Healthy and Quality Life," "Clean Water and Sanitation," "Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure," and "Responsible Production and Consumption."
Hitit University, which has risen to the 301+ band in the field of "Responsible Consumption and Production" and the 401+ band in the field of "Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure" worldwide, also achieved a ranking in the 401+ band in the "Clean Water and Sanitation" and "Ending Poverty" categories. Hitit University is also ranked in the 601+ band in the "Healthy and Quality Life" field.
Among the 74 universities in Turkey that made it into the rankings, Hitit University shares the 19th place in "Responsible Consumption and Production" and the 20th place in the "Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure", "Clean Water and Sanitation" and "Ending Poverty" categories.
