As Hitit University, we regard strategic management not merely as a planning process in which long-term goals are determined, but as a dynamic management approach that ensures these goals are implemented in harmony with the institution’s capacity. In this context, our practice of supporting the University’s Strategic Plan with annually updated action plans is a concrete indicator of our commitment to transforming planning into implementation.
Although preparing annual action plans is not a legal obligation for public institutions conducting strategic planning processes in Türkiye, as Hitit University, we consider this process as an integral part of internal quality assurance. This approach, which reflects our institutional commitment and implementation discipline, positions our university as one of the pioneering institutions in higher education that possesses a holistic management culture—covering the entire cycle from planning to monitoring, from evaluation to improvement.
Through the Annual Action Plans we prepare:
The activities to be carried out in line with strategic objectives and goals are clearly defined,
The responsible units and stakeholders for each activity are identified,
Implementation schedules are established, and
The level of achievement is monitored through predetermined performance indicators.
Thanks to this structure, our strategic plan has become not merely an administrative document but a roadmap that prioritizes institutional learning, transparency, and accountability.
