In order to ensure that the institutional operations of Hitit University are carried out in a transparent, traceable, effective, and sustainable manner, the workflows and job descriptions related to all academic and administrative processes have been systematically defined and standardized. Within this framework, the established workflows aim to clearly demonstrate how the work and procedures conducted in all units of our university are carried out, through which stages, with what responsibilities, and by using which documents.
The flowcharts prepared in a participatory and transparent framework under the coordination of the TQF Alignment and Accreditation Office (TYÇ'ye Uyum ve Areditasyon Ofisi) aim to compile the workflows of all units of our university on a central platform. In this way, both our internal and external stakeholders can easily access information about the university’s academic, administrative, financial, student affairs, personnel procedures, movable property records, quality, and strategy-related processes quickly and reliably.
The workflows:
Support all personnel working at our university in performing their duties in full compliance with the legislation,
Strengthen the internal control mechanisms of units regarding their own processes,
Clarify the boundaries of duties, powers, and responsibilities among stakeholders,
Contribute to the preservation of institutional memory within the framework of the quality assurance system,
Ensure transparency and accountability in internal and external audit processes.
Each workflow is structured to include all steps from the initiation to the completion of the relevant process, the responsible persons or units involved in these steps, the maximum duration required for each task, the documents and systems used, and the approval procedures. The workflows are supported by both textual explanations and schematic diagrams.
All workflow diagrams have been prepared with the contributions of the relevant units of our university, designed in accordance with current legislation and institutional practices, and are periodically reviewed to be revised when necessary. In addition, all workflows are designed in full alignment with the internal control system and quality assurance structures of our university.
